Andrew Elwin Lance Scott, known to family as Lance was my Great Great Uncle on my Father's side. He was married to my Great Grandfather Philip's sister, Auntie Bessie. This is a transcription of his war diary from the 1st of January 1917, when he was at Sling Camp, England through to 1919 when he was discharged on the 23rd of May on account of wounds received in action after serving two years, 197 days in foreign service.
